Hon. Prince Henry Odianosen Okojie has emerged victorious in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election ahead of the forthcoming National Assembly polls.
Okojie, who currently represents Esan North East/South East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, expressed gratitude to the Executive Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, and the APC for giving him the opportunity to fly the party’s flag in the election.
In a statement issued after the primary election, the lawmaker described his victory as humbling and dedicated it to party members, supporters, and the people of the constituency.
“I am deeply humbled and honored to emerge victorious in the APC primary election,” he said.
He also appreciated party leaders, members, and supporters for their encouragement and overwhelming support throughout the process, noting that the victory belonged to everyone committed to purposeful leadership, unity, progress, and effective representation.
Okojie reaffirmed his commitment to serving the people with dedication, loyalty, and integrity while promising to continue working towards the development of the constituency.
The federal lawmaker further called on party faithful and supporters to remain united and focused ahead of the general election, stressing the need for collective effort to secure victory for the APC.
He added that together, stakeholders would continue to build a stronger future for the constituency while upholding the ideals of the ruling party.
