A senior police officer, Timfon John, has celebrated the resilience, courage, and achievements of women as the world marks International Women’s Day.

In a message to commemorate the occasion, DSP Timfon John described herself as a proud woman and dedicated police officer who strongly believes in integrity, service, and strength.

According to her, being a woman in uniform represents far more than a career, noting that it embodies a deep commitment to justice, discipline, and the protection of society.

She said the celebration of International Women’s Day serves as a reminder to honor women who continue to break barriers, demonstrate resilience, and contribute meaningfully to society in various fields.

“As a proud woman and a dedicated police officer, I believe firmly in integrity, service, and strength,” she said. “Today, I celebrate not only myself but every woman who stands strong, breaks barriers, and serves with courage and dignity.”

DSP John emphasized that wearing the police uniform comes with responsibility and pride, adding that she carries both her badge and her womanhood with confidence and strength.

“I wear my badge with pride, my integrity with confidence, and my womanhood with strength,” she added while wishing women around the world a happy International Women’s Day.
