The Kpakpando Vanguard, political support structure for Chief Dr Mrs Marian Nneamaka Ogoh Ali Enyi Kpakpando Ahaba, has insisted that she emerged victorious in the All Progressives Congress (APC) Delta North Senatorial Primary held on May 18, 2026.
Speaking during a media briefing in Asaba on Tuesday, the Campaign Director-General and Chairman of Kpakpando Vanguard, Hon. Chukwuma Christopher Onyekweli, said results gathered by the group from across the nine local government areas in Delta North showed that Marian Ogoh Ali won the exercise convincingly.
According to Onyekweli, reports from polling units, party agents, and field coordinators indicated that the APC aspirant secured widespread support across the senatorial district, except in a few wards where irregularities were allegedly reported.
“Based on field reports, polling unit results, and feedback from our agents across the nine local government areas of Delta North, Chief Dr Mrs Marian Nneamaka Ogoh Ali won this primary convincingly,” he stated.
“The will of APC members in Anioma was expressed clearly at the ballot. What remains is for the party leadership to respect that democratic choice and officially announce the authentic result.”
Onyekweli also congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor, Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, on their victories in their respective primaries, describing the outcome as evidence of the APC’s growing strength in both Delta State and the country.
He further congratulated Marian Ogoh Ali on what he described as a “historic and overwhelming victory,” while urging the APC National Chairman and members of the National Working Committee (NWC) to immediately collate and announce the authentic results of the Delta North Senatorial Primary.
He warned that any attempt to undermine or manipulate the outcome could worsen internal distrust within the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
“Any attempt to suppress or manipulate this mandate will only deepen the crisis of confidence within the party and weaken our chances in 2027,” Onyekweli added.
Also speaking at the briefing, Ogbueshi Uche Keshi commended APC members in Delta North for their peaceful participation during the exercise and maintained that the people of Anioma had clearly expressed their choice through the ballot.
He called on party leaders to prioritize fairness, transparency, and unity in handling the outcome of the primary election.

In separate remarks, Hon. Uche Nwabueze of Aniocha South and Hon. Johnbull Marshall of Aniocha North criticized the late publication of a disqualification notice issued on the day of the primary, describing the action as a violation of due process and established party procedures.
The duo urged the APC leadership to nullify what they described as a flawed process and uphold the outcome that genuinely reflected the will of grassroots party members.
The Kpakpando Vanguard reaffirmed its commitment to peaceful and lawful engagement, while maintaining that it would explore all constitutional and legal means necessary to defend what it called the mandate freely given to Chief Dr Mrs Marian Nneamaka Ogoh Ali by APC members in Delta North.
