Bishop David Oyedepo, founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, popularly known as Winners’ Chapel, has highlighted key spiritual and practical expectations for worshippers ahead of Shiloh 2026, themed “Far Above,” with emphasis on spiritual growth, divine favour, restoration, financial increase and greater impact.
The annual spiritual gathering is expected to centre on the theme “Far Above,” inspired by Isaiah 55:8–9, which underscores the superiority of God’s thoughts and ways over those of humanity.
The theme, accompanied by the declarations “Higher, Greater, Stronger,” points to expectations of spiritual advancement, renewed strength and greater accomplishments in the lives of participants.
As worshippers prepare for the programme, the message encourages them to anticipate God’s intervention across different aspects of their lives, including their spiritual journeys, families, health, careers and finances.
Spiritual Growth and Deeper Relationship with God
One of the key expectations for Shiloh 2026 is deeper spiritual growth, with worshippers encouraged to develop a closer relationship with God, strengthen their prayer lives and gain a better understanding of His Word.
Isaiah 40:31, which speaks of those who wait upon the Lord renewing their strength, serves as a biblical reference for this expectation.
Divine Peace and Joy
The message also highlights divine peace and joy, encouraging believers to trust God amid life’s challenges.
Philippians 4:7 speaks of the peace of God, which surpasses human understanding and guards the hearts and minds of believers through Christ Jesus.
Restoration and Healing
Restoration and healing are also identified as major areas of expectation, with emphasis on God’s ability to bring healing to the body, mind and emotions, as well as restore what has been lost.
Jeremiah 30:17 provides the scriptural basis for this expectation, declaring God’s promise of restoration and healing.
Financial Increase and New Opportunities
Financial increase is another key expectation outlined ahead of the gathering. Worshippers are encouraged to look forward to new opportunities, open doors and increased prosperity, with Deuteronomy 28:12 cited in connection with God’s blessings and provision.
The message further points to fresh opportunities in careers, businesses, education and personal callings, drawing inspiration from Revelation 3:8, which refers to an open door that no one can shut.
Stronger Families and Divine Protection
The expectations for Shiloh 2026 also include stronger families, greater unity, love, peace and divine protection over homes and loved ones.
Psalm 127:1 highlights the importance of God’s involvement in building and sustaining a household, while Psalm 91:11 speaks of divine protection through God’s angels.
Greater Impact and Fulfilment of Purpose
Beyond personal breakthroughs, worshippers are encouraged to expect greater impact and fulfilment of purpose, with an emphasis on becoming a blessing to others and reflecting God’s glory through their lives.
Matthew 5:16 urges believers to let their light shine before others so that their good works may bring glory to God.
‘Far Above’: The Central Message of Shiloh 2026
The central scriptural inspiration for the theme is Isaiah 55:8–9, which declares that God’s thoughts are higher than human thoughts and His ways higher than human ways, just as the heavens are higher than the earth.
The message presents Shiloh 2026 as an opportunity for worshippers to deepen their faith, renew their spiritual commitment and trust in God’s ability to accomplish purposes beyond human limitations.
With the theme “Far Above” and the accompanying declarations “Higher, Greater, Stronger,” the expectations outlined for the gathering focus on spiritual transformation, divine intervention and greater fulfilment across different areas of life.
