The Speaker of Edo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Blessing Sheriff Agbebaku, has condoled with the family of Rt. Rev’D Augustine Ehijimetor Ohilebo, the Bishop of Diocese of Sabongidda-Ora Anglican Communion, on the passing of his dear mother.

Shortly after signing the condolence register at the Bishop’s Court, Sabongidda-Ora, the Speaker described the death of the Bishop’s mother as a huge loss not only to the immediate family, but to the Oke Old Ora community where she hailed from and lived her life.

“Your late mother lived a good life. She was kind hearted and related well with those who came across her. She will be greatly missed by all and may her soul rest in peace”.

“On behalf of the State Assembly, I commiserate with our dear Bishop on the demise of your mother,” adding that the exemplary life she lived is worth emulating by all”.

Adding his voice, the Chief of Staff to the Speaker, Sir (Hon.) ODK Iruobe, said, “All the same, she lived a very good life. She was kind to a fault. We will miss her dearly.”

The SSA to Speaker of Religion, Pst. Muyiwa Adisa, later led a prayer session and prayed for God’s comfort and strength upon the Bishop and his family.
