Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has handed over Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) for a parcel of land to the Nigeria Correction Service , Delta State Command .
Governor Oborevwori who was represented by his Deputy, Sir Monday Onyeme, FCA, handed over the C of O to Controller of Correction, Delta State Command, Mr Raymond Nwagu.
Speaking at the ceremony which took place in Asaba on Monday, Governor Oborevwori assured the Correctional Service of the readiness of his administration to support them at all times.
He said, “having approved the Certificate of Occupancy for a parcel of land , which at a point you requested for, today, I hand over the Certificate of Occupancy to you.
“You can go ahead to embank on the projects that you want to use the land for.”
Mr Nwagu, on behalf of the Controller-General of Nigeria Correctional Service, thanked Delta State government for presenting the C of O to them.
“I want to sincerely appreciate everyone in Delta State.
“Now, I can stand firmly as son of the soil by this gesture that have been done to us today, thank you.’
