With less than 48 hours to the official closing of the 9th National Youth Games holding in Asaba, Team Lagos has remained top on the medals table with 37 gold, 17 silver and 14 bronze medals.
Team Edo is trailing behind with 25 gold, 10 silver and 16 bronze medals, while the defending champion and host Delta occupies the third position with 19 gold, 21 silver and 25 bronze medals.
Meanwhile, 31 states have registered their presence on the medals table winning a total of 491 medals comprising 154 gold, 141 silver and 196 bronze medals.
