Air Vice-Marshal Frank Ajobena (Rtd.) has charged our leaders to work harder to make the country more secured and safer for people to live in without fear or favour. He regretted that Nigeria which was one of the most peaceful country in the world is being ridiculed and torn to pieces by terrorists.
Admiral Ajobena in an exclusive interview with our correspondent in Warri, urged the military to focus more on fishing out the Jihadists who are making the country unsafe for both Nigerians and foreigners.
“It is not a Christian and Muslim issue, but all our military personnel should come out in full force to stamp out this canker worm, threatening the corporate existence of the most populous black nation in the world”
Ajobena, the first military administrator of Abia state And top notcher of the All Progressive Congress (APC) pointed out that if the terrorists have infiltrate the military, the war against the terrorists will be difficult to fight.
“There is an adage that says if someone who stole your missing object is helping you to look for it, you will never find it, so our military should be honest in fighting the terrorists to a standstill”, said the retired Air Vice Marshall.
The elder statesman however noted that if Nigeria is good and peaceful today, we will all enjoy it, adding “No one owns the country than the other because Nigeria belongs to all of us.”
On President Donald Trump ambition to assist Nigeria by fighting the Jihadists that have killed many souls, especially Christians, Admiral stressed that the effort is not a bad one, “it is only the enemy of Nigeria that does not want the country to be in peace”.
