The Delta State Commissioner for Lands, Surveys and Urban Development, Chief Goodnews Emamusi Obiodeh, has once again extended his hand of generosity to residents of Isoko South Local Government Area, distributing cows, rams, and bags of rice worth millions of naira to mark the festive season.

The annual outreach, hosted at Chief Obiodeh’s country home in Ovwodokpokpo-Igbide, was designed to spread cheer and ensure families across the community share in the joy of Christmas.

In his remarks, Chief Obiodeh emphasized that leadership and public office are rare privileges that must be used to uplift lives. He expressed deep appreciation to the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for entrusting him with the opportunity to serve, noting that the governor’s people-focused policies continue to inspire acts of compassion and service.

He urged beneficiaries to make judicious use of the items and to uphold the values of love, unity, and peaceful coexistence that define the yuletide season.

The event drew an impressive gathering of dignitaries, including the Chairman of Isoko South Local Government Council, Comrade Warri Ovoke Friday, accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Abigail Warri. Also present were the Grand Patron of the Isoko Development Union, High Chief Iduh Amadhe, the Director-General of the Delta State Revenue Monitoring and Audit, Barrister Mike Edegware, alongside Chief Lucky Esigie, Chief Joe Aruasi, Hon. Lucky Okperi, community leaders, party stakeholders, and residents from across the local government area.

Beneficiaries lauded Chief Obiodeh for his unwavering generosity and dedication to the welfare of his people, describing the yuletide gesture as both timely and impactful.
