President Bola Tinubu has approved the deployment of 65 ambassadors whose nominations were confirmed by the Senate in December, assigning them to their respective diplomatic missions across the world.
Among those posted is former presidential spokesperson Reno Omokri, who will serve as Nigeria’s ambassador to Mexico.
Also on the list is former aviation minister Femi Fani-Kayode, who has been posted to Germany.
The postings form part of the federal government’s effort to strengthen Nigeria’s diplomatic presence and engagement with key partners around the world.
Details of the other ambassadorial assignments were contained in the list approved by the president following the Senate’s confirmation of the nominees late last year.
