The Founder and Convener of the Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK), William Folorunso Kumuyi, has departed Nigeria for Thailand alongside his wife, Esther Kumuyi, as part of ongoing global evangelism efforts.

The trip comes barely three days after the renowned cleric concluded a two-week gospel crusade across parts of Rivers State under the banner of Global Crusade with Kumuyi.

Kumuyi, who was recently sighted at the airport wearing eyeglasses for the first time, is continuing his international evangelical outreach, taking the message of the gospel beyond Nigeria’s shores. The Thailand mission forms part of his long-standing commitment to global evangelism and the fulfilment of the Great Commission.

A church member who expressed admiration for the cleric’s dedication despite his age said the pastor remains unwavering in his mission to reach souls across the world.

“Even though the physical body is working so hard as our father moves from one GCK location to another, obeying the Great Commission is the ultimate goal on his mind,” the member said. “God who appointed him is always standing by him and supporting him all the way.”

Speaking while waiting for his flight, Kumuyi attributed his strength and zeal for the work to the grace of God.

“Even at the airport, waiting for my flight after an incredible two weeks in Port Harcourt, Bori, and Ahoada, my heart is still racing,” he said. “We saw God move in such a mighty way across Rivers State, but the fire for the Great Commission doesn’t just stop because the programme ended. If anything, it’s burning brighter than ever.”

He also addressed the challenges of constant travel and long hours associated with his evangelistic work.

“People often ask about the travel and the long hours, but physical exhaustion truly cannot quench a heart that is ablaze for the lost,” he said.

Kumuyi further described the Thailand trip as a significant spiritual assignment.

“As I sit here in the departure lounge, I feel a deep stirring in my spirit. This isn’t just another trip for me; I’m sensing a fresh, new anointing specifically for this mission. It’s a grace that feels different. Yes, there is a new mantle for a new territory. Every transit is an opportunity for us, and every person I encounter here is a divine appointment.”

Expressing enthusiasm ahead of the mission, the cleric declared:

“Thailand, we are coming! We are coming with the fullness of the Gospel and a singular focus to reach everyone, everywhere.”

He also called on Christians to support the mission with prayers.

“Please keep us in your prayers as we carry this fresh fire to the harvest field,” he added.
