Isoko communities in Ndokwa East Local Government Area of Delta State have raised concerns over what they describe as continued marginalization, particularly in the distribution of recent infrastructure projects by the state government.
Despite the allocation of billions of naira for road construction and rehabilitation across Delta State, leaders in the affected communities say none of their roads were included in the development plans. They noted that the long-proposed Igbuku–Ibrede–Awa–Iyede Ame–Ewhokorafor–Aboh ring road, which is expected to significantly improve connectivity and drive economic growth in the area, remains unaddressed.
While other parts of the state reportedly benefit from the government’s “More Agenda,” residents of Isoko communities in Ndokwa East say they have yet to experience any meaningful impact, describing the promised development as non-existent in their region.
Speaking on the issue, President General of Ibrede Community, Charles Ighogbefai, expressed disappointment over what he termed the persistent neglect of his people. He emphasized that the Isoko communities in Ndokwa East remain among the most marginalized groups in Delta State and called for urgent government intervention to address their infrastructural needs.
We kindly implore our working “ukodo” gov through his MORE Agenda program initiative to urgently look into this road network linking the Isokos in Ndokwa East with the view to positively repressing it .

The word repress in my earlier comment was a typing error what I meant is REDRESS.
