The Urhobo Consultative Forum (UCF) has congratulated Distinguished Senator Ede Dafinone on his recent appointment as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Federal Character and Intergovernmental Affairs.
In a statement issued by the Forum, the group described the appointment made by the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio as a recognition of Dafinone’s leadership qualities, integrity, and dedication to national service.
The UCF noted that the development represents not only a personal milestone for the senator but also a significant moment of pride for the Urhobo Nation and the Delta Central Senatorial District.
According to the statement, the Forum expressed confidence in Dafinone’s ability to promote fairness, equity, and balanced representation in line with the Federal Character principle, which it described as vital to national unity and sustainable development.
