President William Ruto has commended Kenya’s education system, describing it as one of the most robust on the African continent, while also highlighting the country’s strong command of the English language.
Speaking at a recent government forum, Ruto said Kenya’s emphasis on education has contributed significantly to the clarity and quality of English spoken by its citizens. He added that Kenyans are among the best English speakers globally.
In drawing a comparison with Nigeria, the Kenyan leader suggested that differences in accent and delivery can make communication more challenging, remarking that some Nigerian English may be difficult for others to easily understand.
