Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has formally declared her intention to contest in the 2027 Kogi Central Senatorial election, citing widespread calls and endorsements from constituents.
In a statement addressed to the people of Kogi Central, the senator expressed appreciation for the growing support urging her to seek re-election. She described the endorsements as overwhelming and said they played a key role in her decision.
Responding to the calls, Akpoti-Uduaghan affirmed her readiness to run, stating that her answer was “yes,” while pledging to continue serving the district with renewed dedication and purpose.
She also reaffirmed her commitment to prioritizing the interests of her constituents, emphasizing service to the people and the nation as central to her political mission ahead of the 2027 elections.
