Jesus came to bring deliverance from misery. He healed deadly fevers, as seen in the healing of Simon’s wife’s mother and the nobleman’s son. The sermon states that everyone who believes in Christ as the Healer will receive healing from all deadly diseases. The Lord also brought millions of people out of Egypt, and “there was not one feeble person among their tribes”. Believers must exercise their faith and take action to have their feebleness vanish. Complete healing comes through dynamic faith, as shown by the woman who touched Jesus’ garment and the lame man at Lystra who was healed after hearing Paul speak.

Jesus healed many people who were sick with “divers diseases” and cast out many devils. The message emphasises that Jesus does not discriminate and has grace and healing for everyone. The devils knew that Jesus was the “Holy One of God”. The sermon encourages believers to know Christ more than the devils do. Christ also has healing for the soul that is sick with sin, anxiety, and unmet needs. Just as people bring their sick bodies to the Lord for healing, they should also bring their sin-sick souls to Him for conversion and salvation.

Jesus is the pattern and model for His disciples. He would rise early in the morning to go to a solitary place and pray. The sermon states that if the Son of God prayed, believers should also learn and do the same. Reading the Word of God daily is essential to developing faith, which can destroy the “darts and wiles of the devil”. Jesus’ purposeful pattern in ministry was to preach in many towns because He “came forth” to seek and save the lost. The message concludes by urging believers to go beyond their own locations and regions to reach all who are lost with the gospel of Christ and repentance.
