Edo State House of Assembly Members and Staff have been told to build a strong relationship with God and remain undaunted in the face of their  present challenges and condition.

The charge was handed down today during the September Edition of the House of Assembly Prayer Fellowship  held at the hallowed Chambers with Staff present in thanksgiving to God.

In a sermon, the guest Preacher, Dr Benjamin Ogbuomah of the Omega Fire Ministries, admonished Staff and all present to endeavor to know God more in their dealings .

Speaking on the topic, Understanding the Mind of God, he challenged all to refuse to accept suffering as a way of life and  get closer to God  through prayers and faith.

Dr Ogbuomah gave five conditions that would make one walk with God easily – separating yourself to worship God more, pray without ceasing, have time for family, think productively and study the word of God .

He called on all to build genuine relationship with God and think beyond present challenges and conditions.

He thereafter prayed for the State Government, Speaker, members and staff of the Edo State House of Assembly for long life, Peace, progress and prosperity.

The fellowship closed with prayers by Pastor Fadeke Efosa-Ekhator , while Pastor Okonofua conducted the Service.

The Edo State House of Assembly Prayer Fellowship holds every first working day of the month.
