Prof. Victor Olawale Adetimirin, Vice-Chancellor of Edo State University Iyamho on Friday 22nd August 2025 paid a surprise visit to the University’s sports complex, where he interacted with students on the basketball court and the football pitch. During the visit, he encouraged them to remain steadfast in their academic pursuits while underscoring the vital role of sports in fostering youth development, discipline, and character building.
The visit inspired students, as the Vice-Chancellor’s active presence on the courts and field reflected his commitment to nurturing a vibrant academic community where excellence in learning goes hand in hand with personal growth, teamwork, and the pursuit of greatness both on and off the field.
