‎The Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Blessing Agbebaku, has extended his heartfelt felicitations to muslim faithful in Edo State, across Nigeria, and around the world on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Maulud celebration.

‎

‎In his goodwill message, the Speaker described Eid-el-Maulud, which commemorates the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW), as a time for sober reflection on the Prophet’s noble virtues of humility, love, peace, tolerance, and unwavering devotion to Allah and humanity.

‎

‎Rt. Hon. Agbebaku urged Muslims and all citizens of Edo State to imbibe and practice these values by fostering unity, compassion, and mutual respect in their daily interactions. He further called for collective efforts to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and peaceful coexistence across communities in the State.

‎

‎Reiterating the commitment of the Edo State House of Assembly, the Speaker assured that the legislature will continue to enact laws and policies that promote harmony, inclusiveness, and sustainable development for all residents.

‎

‎While wishing the Muslim Ummah a joyous and peaceful Eid-el-Maulud, Rt. Hon. Agbebaku prayed for enduring peace, progress, and prosperity in Edo State and Nigeria at large.
