A yet to be confirmed reports now trending is that a controversial journalists and public commentator, Fejiro Oliver has been arrested by operatives of the Force Intelligence Department (FID).
According to a report by the Emerald News, an online news publication said that Oliver was arrested on the orders of powerful forces in Delta State.
He was reportedly picked up from his office in Garki, Abuja, taken to the Force Intelligence Department (FID), and later moved to the airport for onward transfer to Asaba, the Delta State capital.
At the time of filing this report, it was still uncertain the whereabouts of the Journalist and the authentication of arrest.
Neither the Delta State government nor the State Police Command has commented of the trending Oliver’s purported arrest

Meanwhile, there’s a wide condemnation stemming from the order of his alleged arrest by the Delta State government.
“In a nation where there is supposed to be freedom of speech, the governor is surely flexing too much muscle.. he should be reminded that he’ll not be in that position forever”
