Former senator and media entrepreneur Ben Murray-Bruce has commended the successful rescue of abducted pupils and teachers in Oyo State, describing the operation as a significant achievement for Nigeria’s security agencies.
In a statement shared on his social media page, Murray-Bruce said the successful operation demonstrated what could be achieved through effective leadership, intelligence gathering, and professionalism.
He praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as the administration’s commitment to protecting the lives of Nigerians, while also commending the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, for coordinating the country’s security architecture.
Murray-Bruce further applauded the Department of State Services (DSS) and other security personnel involved in the rescue operation, saying their efforts deserved recognition.
According to him, the safe return of the abducted pupils and teachers to their families represents a victory for the nation.
“The successful rescue of the abducted pupils and teachers in Oyo State is a remarkable achievement and a testament to what can be accomplished when leadership, intelligence, and professionalism come together,” he said.
He added that “every child returned safely to their family is a victory for our nation,” stressing that the success of the operation should be acknowledged and encouraged.
Murray-Bruce’s comments come in reaction to the reported rescue of the abducted pupils and teachers in Oyo State by security operatives.
