Former Delta State Deputy Governor, Deacon Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, in a post shared on his official Facebook page has described the Christian life as a glorious journey filled with heavenly backing, divine guidance, and the assurance of eternal life.

He said, “Beloved, the reality of being a Christian is not just about attending church or bearing a Christian name — it is a divine transformation that brings us into a living relationship with Jesus Christ. To be a Christian is to be born of God, filled with His Spirit, and guided by His Word. It is to walk daily in the assurance that we are not alone; that heaven backs us up in every situation.

“The benefits are beyond measure — peace that surpasses understanding, joy that the world cannot give, divine protection in times of trouble, and grace that empowers us to overcome every temptation. As Christians, we live not by sight but by faith, knowing that all things work together for our good.

“We are heirs of God’s promises, partakers of divine nature, and citizens of heaven! Though life may bring trials, our hope in Christ gives us victory. So, rejoice and stand firm in your faith, for being a Christian is not a burden but the highest privilege on earth and a guarantee of eternal glory.
