A High Court in Abuja (FCT) has reportedly issued an order stopping actress Regina Daniels from posting anything on social media about her current marital issues.
The order, given yesterday, temporarily prevents her from sharing any details about the dispute until the court hears the matter fully.
It’s believed that her husband filed the application, arguing that her social media posts might affect the wellbeing of their child. Nigerian law places the best interest of the child above everything else in family-related cases.
This means the court can restrict any actions—by either parent—that could hàrm the children emotionally, mentally, or socially. Even if the adults are consenting to public discussions, the court’s priority is to shield the children from confl!ct and unnecessary public exposure.
