A driver identified as Olunowo Olumide Ogunyemi has allegedly absconded with a Lexus GX460 belonging to his employer in Lagos, barely three weeks after being employed.

According to an SOS message issued by the vehicle owner and reported by TheCable, Ogunyemi, aged 48, was engaged as a personal driver last month before allegedly making away with the vehicle.

The Lexus GX460, bearing registration number KJA 123 CX, was reportedly taken under circumstances that remain unclear. Ogunyemi’s last known address was said to be 6, Engineer Olaitan Street, Iyana Ipaja, Lagos.

The owner has since raised alarm and appealed to members of the public for information that could lead to the recovery of the vehicle and the whereabouts of the suspect.

Authorities have been urged to investigate the incident, while residents have been advised to remain vigilant.
