EDHA Clears Nominees for Law Reforms Commission, Audit Service Commission and Civil Service Commission

Edo State House of Assembly on resumption of plenary, cleared nominees for Edo State Law Reforms Commission, Edo State Audit Service Commission and One Nominee for the Edo State Civil Service Commission.

 

This is sequel to the presentation and consideration of reports of the screening by the House Committee on Rules, Business and Government House.

 

The reports were duly considered at the Committee of the Whole, before the House cleared the Nominees.

 

Those cleared include Chairman and members of the Law Reforms Commission led by Barr Donald Osikhena Boih,

Chairman and members of the Audit Service Commission led by it’s Chairman, Mr Odion John as well as an additional member of the Edo State Civil Service Commission Barr Godson.

 

Also at Plenary, the House received a Petition titled Case of Malicious Damage of Farm products in Utekon Community in Ovia North East Local Government Area.

 

The Speaker, Rt Hon Chief Blessing Sheriff Agbebaku committed the Petition to the Committee on public Petitions to report back in 2 weeks.

The Speaker under other announcements appealed to Members to conclude all Committee assignments for presentation and consideration on the floor of the house.

 

The House thereafter adjourned sitting to Tuesday 16th of September 2025, after an adjournment motion moved by Member Representing Uhuwonde Hon Kaycee Osawonyi and Seconded by the Member Representing Etsako West 11 Constituency,Hon Gani Akokhia.
