BENIN CITY, Edo State — Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has approved the appointment of Dr. Ojiezele Alimhianga Augustine as the new Director-General of the Edo State Roads Fund Board (EDSRFB).
The appointment, which takes immediate effect, was contained in a government special announcement issued on October 5, 2026, and signed by the Secretary to the Edo State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor, Esq.
According to the statement, Dr. Ojiezele is a seasoned financial management professional with more than three decades of experience in the Nigerian Public Service.
He has served in various senior accounting and administrative positions, where he gained extensive experience in public sector financial management and administration.
The state government expressed confidence that his wealth of experience and professional expertise would contribute significantly to the effective discharge of the mandate of the Edo State Roads Fund Board.
It added that his appointment would help advance the board’s objectives, particularly in strengthening the management and administration of road-related funds in the state.
The appointment takes immediate effect.
