The Delta State Police Command has dismissed claims circulating online about a supposed bandit attack at Girls’ Secondary School, Utagba-Ogbe, in Kwale.
The command described the rumour as completely false and capable of causing unnecessary panic among residents.
According to the police, no such incident occurred, and security in the area remains stable. The command urged the public to disregard the misleading report and cautioned individuals against spreading unverified information that could heighten tension within the community.
