Former Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Mrs. Rebecca Aikhomu, wife of the late Admiral Augustus Aikhomu, a former Chief of General Staff of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

He noted that her passing represents a personal loss, given his longstanding warm relationship with the Aikhomu family.
