A physically challenged man identified as Mr. Jude Ebosele, popularly known as “Diplomat,” has alleged that he was assaulted during an incident involving officials of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Sapele, Delta State.
Ebosele claimed the incident occurred at the office of the Secretary to the Council, Hon. Raymond Overah, where he said he was attacked by some individuals allegedly linked to APC Ward 7 leadership.
According to his account, the altercation involved the APC Ward 7 Chairman, Ovo Abeke, and others present at the scene. He further alleged that despite the incident unfolding in the office, no immediate intervention was made to stop the situation.
The allegations have since generated reactions within the community, with some residents and party supporters calling for a proper investigation into the matter.
Others have urged the leadership of the APC in Delta Central to look into the claims and ensure due process is followed.
As of the time of filing this report, no official statement had been issued by the APC Ward 7 leadership or the office of the Secretary to the Council regarding the allegations.
