President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja on Sunday for Europe, where he is scheduled to begin a three-week vacation as part of his annual leave.
The President’s planned trip was disclosed by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, in a statement issued on Sunday.
According to Onanuga, Tinubu’s first destination will be London, United Kingdom, where he will spend part of his working vacation.
The President is expected to return to Nigeria at the end of the three-week break and join preparations for the January 2027 election campaign.
The vacation comes as political activities gradually intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections, with major political parties and their candidates expected to step up their campaigns in the coming months.
