President Bola Tinubu on Sunday, December 28, departed Lagos for Europe, as part of his end-of-year vacation and in preparation for an official engagement in the United Arab Emirates.
According to a statement by the presidential spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu was invited by the President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to participate in the 2026 edition of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW 2026).
The summit, scheduled to hold in early January in Abu Dhabi, is expected to bring together global leaders to discuss sustainability, climate action, and economic development.
