President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has retained Vice President Kashim Shettima as his running mate for the 2027 presidential election after submitting his All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential nomination forms.
The development was announced by Ibrahim Masari, the President’s Special Adviser on Political Affairs, who disclosed that Tinubu had formally completed the party’s nomination process ahead of the 2027 general election.
