The Vice-Chancellor of Edo State University Iyamho, Professor Victor Olawale Adetimirin, on Monday 29th September, 2025 officially handed over a set of donated medical equipment to the Edo State University Teaching Hospital (ESUTH), aimed at enhancing clinical training for medical students and improving healthcare delivery.
The donation, made by distinguished orthopaedic surgeon Dr M. D. Saliu-Lawal, includes a suction machine, adjustable operating table, autoclave, X-ray viewer, clinical beds, and other essential medical equipment.
During the handover ceremony, Professor Adetimirin urged the hospital management to ensure the proper utilisation and maintenance of the equipment, in order to fulfil its intended purpose of supporting medical education and patient care.
