Founder and General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, William Folorunso Kumuyi, has announced the 2026 Global Easter Retreat, inviting Christians worldwide to participate in what he described as a life-transforming spiritual gathering.
In a message shared via his official Facebook page, Kumuyi expressed gratitude to God for what he called remarkable manifestations of divine power during his recent gospel outreaches across Nigeria’s South-South region and beyond, including Uyo, Port Harcourt, Bori, Ahoada, Asaba, and Thailand.
He noted that the outreach recorded undeniable demonstrations of God’s power, emphasizing that “the arm of the Lord is not shortened.”
Highlighting the significance of the upcoming retreat, Kumuyi said the focus would be on the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ, describing it as central to the Christian faith. He referenced Philippians 3:10, where the Apostle Paul speaks of knowing Christ and the power of His resurrection, adding that this remains his prayer for believers during the Easter season.
According to him, the 2026 edition of the Global Easter Retreat, themed “The Glory of Christ’s Resurrection,” will hold from April 2 to April 6 across various retreat centers worldwide.
Kumuyi urged participants not to attend as a mere religious routine but to seek a genuine spiritual encounter, describing the event as a “divine appointment” capable of bringing transformation.
“This retreat is not like others. It is a moment to encounter the Living Christ, where burdens can be lifted by the same power that rolled away the stone,” he stated.
The theme of this year Global Easter Retreat is,”The Glory of Christ’s Resurrection”.
He assured prospective attendees that their lives would experience significant change through participation in the retreat.
