Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State is set to stage a 1,000-man solidarity walk in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and other All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The solidarity march, scheduled for Wednesday, November 4, 2026, is expected to attract political leaders, party chieftains, members, supporters and other stakeholders from across the local government area.
Participants are expected to assemble at Koko Garage, the designated take-off point, by 2:00 p.m. before proceeding with the planned walk.
The convener, Dr. Oritsegbegbemi Maurice Ojoede, Executive Assistant to the Governor on Political Affairs, said the initiative was designed to mobilise residents of Warri North and provide an avenue for party supporters to publicly express their political allegiance ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He urged residents, APC members and supporters to turn out in large numbers, emphasising the importance of unity and collective participation in strengthening the party’s grassroots presence across the local government area.
The planned walk forms part of ongoing political mobilisation activities ahead of the 2027 polls, with organisers expressing support for the re-election bids of President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori.
With the event expected to draw participants from different communities in Warri North, attention will be on the level of turnout as the APC steps up its political mobilisation ahead of the next general elections.
