Edo Speaker commends Governor Okpebholo on one year in office, pledges continued legislative support

The Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Blessing Agbebaku, has congratulated Governor Monday Okpebholo on the occasion of his first anniversary in office, describing the administration’s performance over the past year as commendable and transformative.

 

In a congratulatory message, the Speaker lauded the Governor’s commitment to the development of Edo State, noting that his leadership has rekindled hope among the people and set the State on a path of sustainable progress.

 

Rt. Hon. Agbebaku highlighted the administration’s achievements in key sectors such as infrastructure, education, healthcare, and agriculture, saying they have contributed significantly to the growth of the State’s economy and improved the quality of life of its citizens.

 

“Through Your SHINE AGENDA, your leadership has brought renewed hope to the people of Edo , and we are committed to working with you to ensure the success of your vision for the State,” the Speaker stated.

 

He further emphasized the importance of collaboration between the Executive and Legislative arms of government in driving good governance, pledging the Assembly’s continued support for the Governor’s developmental agenda.

 

“As we celebrate this milestone, we recognize the importance of effective governance and the need for continued synergy between the Executive and Legislative arms of government. We are committed to ensuring that the people of Edo State receive the best possible service,” he added.

 

Rt. Hon. Agbebaku congratulated the Governor once again on his first year in office and expressed optimism that the years ahead would bring even greater achievements for Edo State.
