Christmas: Guwor Shares Message of Hope and Goodwill with Deltans Worldwide

As Christians worldwide celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, Delta State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has extended heartfelt Christmas greetings to Deltans globally.

 

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Nkem Nwaeke, Rt Hon Guwor emphasized the season’s reminder of the sacred virtues of love, hope, and renewal.

 

Expressing gratitude to the people for the sacrifice and support to the state government led by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, the Speaker said “the season reminds each and every one of the sacred virtues of love, hope, and renewal”.

 

Rt Hon Guwor who is the National Treasurer, Conference of Speakers of State Houses of Assembly, urged Deltans to embody those values to foster a state where every citizen thrives in peace, progress, and unity.

 

“May our shared spirit of resilience and faith guide us toward a brighter future”, Guwor added.

 

The Speaker on behalf of the State Legislature, wished all Deltans joy, blessings, and a prosperous New Year, saying, “Merry Christmas, Delta State”.

 

Guwor expressed optimism that the Yuletide will usher in new prosperity and growth in the state and called for collective action towards building a brighter future for the state.
