It is by the mercies of the Lord that we have not been consumed, and we are alive today to celebrate the faithfulness of God toward our lives and families. To God alone be all the glory. Hallelujah!
Scripture: Acts 20:35
“I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
This passage is one of the profound teachings of Scripture. Often, when believers hear it, their minds immediately turn to material or financial giving. Indeed, the Apostle Paul was encouraging believers to support the weak, the downtrodden, the incapacitated, and the poor among us. Yet the principle of giving goes far beyond material resources.
Consider the relationship between a teacher and a student. The teacher continually gives knowledge, while the student receives it. Interestingly, as the teacher gives, he or she also grows in understanding and wisdom. In the same way, God calls us to share the knowledge, grace, and gifts we have received.
The Scripture also reminds us in 2 Timothy 2:1–2:
“You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful people who will be able to teach others also.”
This is the divine pattern of spiritual multiplication—receiving, sharing, and empowering others to do the same.
Let us therefore continue giving the knowledge, wisdom, encouragement, and resources that God has entrusted to us. As we do so, we positively impact lives and bring glory to our Creator.
We thank God for those who, by His grace and mercy, have been blessed with material and financial resources and are using them according to His will.
May the God of heaven and earth pour out His abundant blessings upon you in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
May your hands never grow weak in giving as you help transform the lives and destinies of the poor, the sick, the imprisoned, the bereaved, the orphans, the widows, the elderly, and faithful servants of God.
As we remain faithful in giving according to the will of God, may our sources of livelihood receive divine increase. May we never experience recession, reduction, or retrogression in our labor. Instead, may God reward and prosper the works of our hands in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Do not grow tired or discouraged in doing good. Keep giving, for your generosity will speak for you.
