President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has praised ongoing infrastructure and development projects in Bayelsa State, describing them as impactful initiatives aimed at improving the lives of residents.

Speaking during a visit to the state, the President highlighted key projects including the New Yenagoa City Road 1, the Angiama–Oporoma Bridge, and the Bayelsa Independent Power Project, noting that they represent more than just physical structures.

According to him, the road project enhances accessibility, the bridge strengthens connectivity, and the power project creates opportunities for economic growth and development.

President Tinubu emphasized the need for governments at all levels to remain committed to policies and projects that directly benefit the people. He also reaffirmed his administration’s readiness to collaborate with state governments that prioritize the welfare of their citizens.

The President commended Bayelsa State Governor, Duoye Diri, for his leadership and people-oriented approach to governance.

He added that such efforts contribute to building confidence in the nation’s future, expressing optimism that Nigeria will continue to make progress.
