Top political figures and stakeholders are set to converge today for the 2026 Advocate Publication Lecture Series, a forum focused on addressing governance challenges in Nigeria.
Among the prominent attendees expected at the event are Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori; Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District, Ede Dafinone; and founding leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, O’tega Emerhor, alongside other notable dignitaries.
The lecture, themed “From Ballot to Patronage: Why Electoral Victory Fails to Deliver Good Governance in Nigeria,” will explore the gap between electoral success and effective governance, a persistent issue in the country’s democratic experience.
