Comrade Nelson Agbajor has been re-elected as Chairman of the Sapele Chapel of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) following a keenly observed election conducted in a peaceful and transparent atmosphere.
The election, held earlier today, was supervised by members of the State Working Committee (SWC) led by the State Council Chairman, Comrade Churchill Oyowe, who ensured the process met acceptable standards of fairness and credibility.
In his acceptance remarks on behalf of the newly elected executives, Agbajor reaffirmed his commitment to upholding the principles of the NUJ constitution. He also pledged to run an inclusive administration that would carry all members along without bias.
Other elected officials, including Comrade Stephanie Ikanone Odiete and Comrade Esada Uyono, who spoke to theromanews expressed gratitude to God and appreciation to union members for the confidence placed in them to serve.

Meanwhile, State NUJ Council Chairman, Comrade Churchill Oyowe, congratulated the Sapele Chapel executives on their re-election, describing the outcome as well deserved.
