The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has congratulated Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Francis Orohwedor Oborevwori, on the occasion of his 63rd birthday anniversary.
In a goodwill message released through his Chief Press Secretary, Nkem Nwaeke, the Speaker described Governor Oborevwori as “the Pride of Delta,” commending his visionary leadership, commitment to excellence, and unwavering dedication to the development of the state.
Guwor noted that the Governor’s administration has continued to inspire confidence among Deltans through impactful governance and sustained developmental strides across the state.
According to the Speaker, Governor Oborevwori’s humility, service-oriented leadership, and commitment to the welfare of the people have distinguished him as a beacon of good governance and a driving force behind the Delta dream.
He praised the Governor’s MORE Agenda, stating that it has delivered significant achievements in critical sectors, including infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, youth empowerment, and social services, thereby enhancing the quality of life of residents across Delta State.
The Speaker further affirmed the commitment of the 8th Delta State House of Assembly to supporting the administration through effective lawmaking, oversight functions, and quality representation aimed at advancing democratic governance and sustainable development in the state.
