The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has celebrated the graduation of his daughter, Jazmyne, who has earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree with Upper Second-Class Honours from the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom.
In a message shared after the graduation ceremony, Wike expressed joy and gratitude, describing the occasion as a memorable moment of parenthood for himself and his wife.
“I celebrate and rejoice with my daughter, Jazmyne, who yesterday earned a Bachelor of Laws (Upper Second-Class Honours) degree from the University of Southampton, United Kingdom,” Wike said.
The former Rivers State governor said he and his wife were delighted to witness their daughter’s academic achievement, adding, “Jazmyne, thank you for making us proud.”
Wike also appreciated those who attended the graduation ceremony despite their demanding schedules. He specifically acknowledged the Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri; the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Mao Ohuabunwa; and other well-wishers for identifying with his family during the celebration.
“I thank my friend and brother, His Excellency Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the BoT Chairman of our party, the PDP, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa, and others who attended the graduation ceremony, not minding their busy schedules. You will always receive happiness from your children,” Wike stated.
The graduation ceremony marked another academic milestone for the Wike family, with the FCT Minister receiving congratulatory messages from associates and supporters following his daughter’s achievement.
