Nollywood actress and philanthropist, Regina Daniels, has announced the return of her Children’s Day Carnival, scheduled to hold on May 27, 2026, in Asaba, Delta State.
The event, which last held in 2019, is aimed at promoting education and creating memorable experiences for children through entertainment and social engagement.
Speaking ahead of the carnival, Regina Daniels described the event as a celebration of love, laughter, music, games, dance, and unforgettable memories for children and families.
According to her, the carnival has recorded several successful editions in the past, noting that her passion for celebrating children inspired the revival of the initiative.
“The last time we had it was in 2019 and prior to that, there were six other editions, and I love celebrating kids,” she said.
She added that the 2026 edition would focus not only on fun-filled activities but also on supporting education and inspiring young minds.
The actress called on parents, guardians, and teachers to encourage children and wards to participate in the event, assuring them of an exciting and memorable experience.
The Children’s Day Carnival is scheduled to take place at the Cenotaph, behind the House of Assembly in Asaba, Delta State.
Organisers say the event is expected to attract children and families from across the state for a day of entertainment, bonding, and celebration.
