The Eyewitness Network (EWN) has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the completion of three years in office, calling on Nigerians to continue supporting his administration’s reforms to ensure the success of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
In a press release signed by its National Secretary, Dr. Saviour Ekpe, and dated July 27, 2026, the group said President Tinubu had demonstrated courage, resilience and commitment in implementing bold reforms aimed at repositioning Nigeria for sustainable economic growth, improved governance and long-term national development.
The position followed a high-level meeting of the organization’s zonal directors from the six geopolitical zones, chaired by the National Director, Exlibris Christopher Ekefre. The meeting was attended by the National Vice Directors representing the North West, North East, North Central, South East, South South and South West zones, alongside other national officers.
According to the statement, the Network acknowledged what it described as significant achievements by the Tinubu administration across critical sectors of the economy. It cited economic reforms that it said had strengthened public finances, increased revenue to the three tiers of government, improved investor confidence and enhanced macroeconomic stability.
The group also commended the administration’s investments in infrastructure, highlighting projects such as the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, the Sokoto-Badagry Super Highway, and other strategic road and rail developments across the country. It said the projects are expected to boost commerce, improve transportation and accelerate national development.
The Eyewitness Network further praised reforms in the oil and gas sector, saying they had attracted fresh investments, expanded domestic refining capacity, promoted gas development and strengthened Nigeria’s energy security. It also noted ongoing efforts to improve electricity infrastructure through reforms in the power sector.
In the agricultural sector, the organization said government programmes aimed at increasing food production, supporting farmers and enhancing food security deserve commendation. It also lauded the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), describing it as a major initiative that has expanded access to higher education by providing financial support to eligible Nigerian students.
On security, the Network said improved funding, acquisition of modern equipment and enhanced support for the Armed Forces and other security agencies have contributed to efforts to protect lives and property across the country.
While acknowledging that the administration’s reforms have placed economic pressure on many Nigerians, the group described the challenges as temporary and necessary for rebuilding the economy and laying the foundation for long-term prosperity.
The organization urged Nigerians to remain patient, resilient and supportive of the Federal Government’s policies, stressing that national development requires collective sacrifice, unity of purpose and sustained commitment from both leaders and citizens.
“The Eyewitness Network remains committed to promoting responsible citizenship, constructive engagement and national development,” the statement said, expressing confidence that sustained public support and effective leadership would help Nigeria achieve lasting peace, economic prosperity and shared national progress.
