Samuel Airhunwunde has celebrated his parents, Pst. and Mrs. Monday Airhunwunde, on their 35th wedding anniversary, describing their marriage as a remarkable testimony of love, sacrifice, friendship and God’s faithfulness.
In a heartfelt anniversary tribute, Samuel said his parents’ 35-year journey together had been defined by commitment, patience and their unwavering decision to stand by each other through the highs and challenges of life.
According to him, the couple, who exchanged marital vows 35 years ago, have built a family founded on love and faith and have been blessed with three children.
“Dad and Mum, your marriage reminds us that true love isn’t simply about finding the perfect person; it’s about growing together, forgiving one another, standing together, and keeping God at the centre of it all,” Samuel said.
He described their marriage as more than a union between two individuals, saying it had become a beautiful legacy for the family and an example of enduring commitment.
Samuel prayed that God would continue to strengthen his parents’ bond, renew their joy, preserve their health and grant them many more years of happiness together.
“My prayer is that God will continue to strengthen your bond, renew your joy, preserve your health, and bless you with many more beautiful years together,” he said.
He expressed gratitude for the love and sacrifices of his parents, which he said had played a significant role in building and shaping their family.
“We are grateful for the love that built our family. We are grateful for the sacrifices that shaped us. And above all, we are grateful to God for you both,” Samuel added.
He wished the couple a happy 35th wedding anniversary on behalf of the family, praying that the years ahead would be even sweeter than those behind them.
