Senator Ede Dafinone has congratulated renowned legal luminary and elder statesman, High Chief T. J. Onomigbo-Okpoko, OON, SAN, on his 95th birthday, describing his contributions to the legal profession and traditional institution as an enduring legacy of honour and integrity.
Dafinone, who represents Delta Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, praised the nonagenarian for his outstanding service to the legal profession, administration of justice and preservation of traditional values.
In a birthday message, the senator described Onomigbo-Okpoko as an eminent legal practitioner, revered elder statesman and distinguished Senior Okakuro of Okpe Kingdom.
He particularly acknowledged the celebrant’s achievements as a former Chairman of the Body of Benchers and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), noting that his contributions had left an enduring mark on the legal profession and society.
According to Dafinone, Onomigbo-Okpoko’s life exemplifies honour, integrity and dedicated service, making his 95th birthday a significant occasion to celebrate his remarkable achievements and legacy.
“On behalf of myself, the Dafinone family and the good people of Delta Central Senatorial District, I celebrate your remarkable life and pray that Almighty God grants you many more years in sound health, peace and fulfilment, and renews your strength like that of the eagle,” the senator said.
