The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has invited professionals across multiple fields, including cybersecurity, data analysis, medicine, languages and graphic design, to explore career opportunities at its first-ever FBI Expo in Washington, D.C.
The FBI Washington Field Office (FBIWFO) announced that the event would hold on October 29, 2026, at the D.C. Armory, as part of efforts to connect prospective applicants with career opportunities within the bureau.
In an announcement promoting the event, the FBI said people with different talents and professional backgrounds could find career paths suited to their skills, encouraging interested candidates to register and participate.
The expo will be followed by a Law Enforcement Recruiting Event on October 30, bringing together more than 100 federal, state and local law enforcement agencies seeking qualified candidates for various positions.
According to the event organisers, the two-day programme is designed to give job seekers the opportunity to meet recruiters, explore career options and gain insight into the law enforcement and public safety sectors.
The FBI Expo on October 29 will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for general admission, while military personnel and their families will have early access from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The Law Enforcement Recruiting Event on October 30 will also offer early access to military personnel and their families from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., followed by general admission from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Participants are encouraged to bring their résumés and engage directly with recruiters to learn about available positions, qualification requirements and potential career pathways.
The organisers said the event would cater to both individuals beginning their careers and professionals seeking new opportunities in law enforcement and related fields.
