The Vice Chancellor of Ambrose Alli University (AAUE), Ekpoma, Professor Mrs. Eunice Eboserehimen Omonzejie, has reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to safety with a strategic visit to security agencies in Ekpoma
She met with the Area Commander of the Nigerian Police, the DPOs of Ekpoma and Iruekpen Divisions, and the Commander of the Nigerian Army Barracks, Ekpoma, to discuss ways to enhance security around the university community.
The Vice Chancellor also inspected the official VC’s Lodge to assess its security infrastructure. She appealed for sustained support, stressing that academic excellence thrives only in a safe environment.
In response, the security chiefs pledged closer collaboration through patrols, intelligence sharing, and swift response strategies. They commended the VC’s proactive leadership, noting the university’s vital role in the development of Edo State.
