The Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of a Nigerian woman, Nihinloluwa Agoro, and her two children, Temiloluwa and Isaac, following a fatal road accident in Fort Bend County, Texas.
In a statement issued by NiDCOM’s Head of Media, Public Relations and Protocols Unit, Abdur-Rahman Balogun, Dabiri-Erewa described the incident as both heartbreaking and devastating. She noted that the victims lost their lives during what was meant to be a routine journey.
“This sudden loss is painful and tragic for any family,” she said, while extending her condolences to the bereaved family.
She also offered prayers for the repose of the deceased and comfort for those left behind, and wished a speedy recovery to individuals who sustained injuries in the accident.
Dabiri-Erewa further urged motorists to exercise caution on the roads to help prevent avoidable tragedies. She added that the Commission stands in solidarity with the Nigerian community in Texas and across the United States during this difficult period.
According to reports, the accident occurred on Sunday, March 15, 2026, as the victims were on their way to church.
